I started A Note on Style in 2013 as a way to collect, share and comment on things that inspire me. With so much visual content available today, it can be overwhelming and difficult to skim through and find the best of the best. I wanted to create a site where like-minded people would want to stop by and view a curated perspective without all the clutter. A Note on Style is my edited view of all things stylish in fashion and décor, plus travel guides on packing, where to go and favorite finds.
My taste is classic with a modern edge. With infinite choices online, I love identifying key pieces with staying power that are wearable, fresh and effortlessly define my version of chic. From interior design to destinations in travel, I like to share ideas that are inspirational from their overall aesthetic to the minute details that make them special. Of course, living a life with style is merged between all of these disciplines which inevitably influence choices made everyday that create personal style.
As for me, I’m a former fashion buyer, retail consultant, and interior designer living in southern California. I have been tearing pages from magazines since I was a teenager and decided to take my visual obsession to a larger creative outlet. A Note on Style is a natural extension for me to share my view on style and things I love influenced by my appreciation of fashion, travel and interior design.
